When running Norton AntiVirus 2003/2004 Auto Protect, the Simple NAS may experience any one of the following symptoms:

• Inability to connect to the shared drive
• Inability to view the content listings of the shared drive
• Errors when copying files from the PC to the NAS

 

 

Norton AntiVirus 2003/2004 uses an outdated protection method that conflicts with a newly patched version of Windows.

 

 

You must either update to the latest version of Norton AntiVirus or disable Auto Protect.
