When you attach the Sound Bite speakers to your computer and Windows/Mac OS detects the new hardware, the main speakers are still used, or no sound is being emitted.

For Windows, your sound options may be set to always use the default device.
For the Mac OS, you must manually select the audio output.
|
|
 |
Windows Users:
- Click on Start --> Control Panel.
- Open the Sound and Audio Devices icon.
- Click on the Audio tab.
- At the bottom, uncheck the box labeled "Use only default devices."
- For the Sound Playback drop down menu, choose the "C-Media USB Audio."
Your sound should now be heard through the Sound Bite speakers.
Mac OS Users:
- Open up the System Preferences.
- Choose the Sound icon.
- Under the Sound Preferences, click on "Output."
- You can now choose the "C-Media USB Speakers" for your audio output.
Your sound should now be heard through the Sound Bite speakers.
