1. Click on Start-->Control Panel-->Administrative Tools.
2. Open “Computer Management.”
3. Click on “Disk Management” under the category “Storage.” Note: This may take a while to populate. Please be patient.
4. In the right-bottom pane, you will see a list of all the hard disks and CD drives attached to your system. For example, you may see a Disk0, Disk1, and so forth. The last disk number is usually the Warp Drive. Please make sure the size reported matches that of your Warp Drive.
5. You may notice a red warning symbol and a status of "Not Initialized" on the disk. Right click on it and choose "Initialize Disk." A dialog box will appear asking you to confirm your choice. Press "OK." The red icon will now disappear.
6. Now, right click on the "Unallocated" space of the same disk and choose "New Partition." Follow the wizard to complete the process. Usually, the defaults are OK. Also, take note of the drive letter it assigns to the Warp Drive. This can be changed at any time.
7. The wizard will close and the hard disk will change status from "Unallocated" to "Formatting." When it is finished, it will show a status of "Healthy." You can only use the drive once it has completed formatting and shows a status of "Healthy."
8. Close Computer Management and open My Computer. You will now see the new Warp Drive 3.5" as the drive letter you assigned it in the formatting wizard.
